Hi! I’m Kate, your ops alchemist
From Industrial Engineering at a large manufacturing company, working on a farm in Hawaii, becoming a certified health coach, supporting operations at a startup, to operations and project management for small businesses… my career path has been anything but linear.
Over the past 10 years, I have had a front row seat to the operating systems of 30+ companies across a wide range of industries. And one of the most valuable lessons I’ve learned is there’s not a one-size-fits-all approach to operations.
The best part of working with small businesses is getting to know the people behind the operation. My approach doesn’t include cookie cutter recommendations or generic workflows. I take the time to learn about you, your vision, and your team. I dig in to what’s really working, what isn’t working, and how you got to this point. I ask hard questions aimed to get at the heart of your business. My goal is to build systems and processes that you’ll actually use, whether we work together for for 1 week or 1 year.
